I'm Moving

Yes...I am moving to Wordpress. The only reason that I am moving is because I want something fresh and new. Someone was talking about it on the GCH message board so I decided to try it out. I don't think I know anyone with wordpress. I don't think I know any bloggers at all to tell you the truth. Anyway...it's official I am moving. This is the last post on this blog....unless I change my mind and decided to come back to Blogger. We'll see! Good Morning,
This week is boring to say the least. My mother called me this morning and said that it is snowing in Louisiana. It would snow the year that I am not there huh? I would love to see the snow right now. Anyways I am feeling a little jealous..ugh! I have finally added my music page to MySpace. I know that I said that I would only add them to my blog, but I could not figure out how to do it. Well to be completely honest, I didn't even try to figure out how to do. I thought it would be easier and better if I did it that way. You can find the link to my music on the sidebar title Gabie MySpace music or something like that.

My friend and I were sitting around in my hotel room. Well skipping all the stuff in between that posessed me I decided to find some free matches on eHarmony.com. LAME! I did that long ass survey and they showed me info about my matches and no pictures. They were like you have to pay to see pictures. I'd rather get my BOO the old fashion way...telling the LORD what I want and let HIM combine that with what I need nad sending him special delivery. That sounds wayyy better to me. I do not want to take money and time to get to know someone who probably is lying anyway. NOPE!

I have a dentist appointment today. I'm a little nervouse cause it's been a while since I've been to the dentist. I'm afraid of what he may say. Ole Well....got to get it done.

Faithfulness? Loyalty?

You know pain still lives inside of me from people who did not reciprocate my loyalty and faithfulness towards them. I have come to understand while dealing with the trails and fustrations of my everyday life that I was more faithful to my "friends" then I was to God. I would have never gotten out of my bed at 3 or 4am to go to church for an emergency meeting or something, but I did for a friend. Ain't that sad! I can say this much is true...I have always loved God and cherished His faithfulness towards me, but how can I expect faithfulness from folks when I can't even show my faithfulness towards THE ONE that gives faithfulness. This makes me sad because this is so obvious. I am going to learn to be more faithful to God and our relationship. I need Him more than I have ever needed any of those friends so why did I treat them better. Anyways I'm am turning a new leaf and I am going to realize that nothing is more important than me and God's relationship. God have mercy on me! Be Blessed!

A prayer to God and a little Beyonce made the end of my day super duper. I watched Secret Millionaire last night and what an inspiring show that is. I watched both episodes but the lady that was married to the man who owned Raisin Cane (i love) said something so powerful. She said "I feel like the lucky one". That's just how I would imagine myself feeling. I think that with all the crap on t.v., this is a breathe of fresh air. *Confession* I'm guilty of watching the crap too *Confession*. Anyways more to come today! Got to get back to work! :)

Struggling with a name

As you can see...I am having name issues with my blog. So I decided to name it after my first album. Yahhh! And it's copyrighted so don't try to steal my ish! LOL....just kidding...but not really!

I made it

After hours and hours of delays, lost luggage, and missing a day at work..I finally got a little comfortable and ready to get back to work! Yahhhhhh! I think all of this comes from talking smack...lol! No more smack talking!

Okay...this has been the most non-vacation vacation I have ever been on. I rushed out to see all my people that I've been missing so much. Went to see family and friends....something that I will never do again. The only people that I am going to see next time when I get home is my family. I am not doing all the rushing in and out of town to see folks, running around town trying to catch up with folks and all that good stuff....next time folks gon have to meet me half way or something. I was so worn out. I am leaving now but the flight is delayed an hour and something so, I'm chilling at the airport playing on the internet with an extremely low battery. I just too a break to fid a plug for my computer. I can not get on the plane without my music. I think I might lose it!

Speaking of music...Guess what's here?!?!? My Official Demo. It sounds great! I must admit..toot toot! beep! beep! There are places here and there where you can tell that I am not professional yet..lol. I am determined to make the best instrument out of my voice that I possibly can. I remember when I was in voice lessons how great I was gooding with seeing and actually hearing myself. I definitely have what it takes to be an awesome vocalist. And I am positively blessed with the guts to utilize it. I can not wait until this thing is copyrighted so I can share it. I am only sharing it on my blog so folks that don't read my blog will not get to hear this awesome piece of work. I'm sorry! This blog is my journey and those songs are apart of that journey. We'll see how selfish I am with them. Listen to me....like someone is actually dying to hear these things.lol!

Food and Music...what a wonderful combination. That's me tearing into some Gumbo and me in the studio recording my oh so fabulous demo, which, needless to mention, came out great!
